RCMP officer assaulted trying to break up ‘out of control’ house party

PITT MEADOWS (NEWS 1130) — A party in Pitt Meadows got so out of hand Saturday night that an officer was hurt and several people were arrested.

Ridge Meadows RCMP say officers responded to a house near Harris Road and Fieldstone Walk where a number of intoxicated youths were refusing to call it a night.

One police officer was assaulted as they tried to remove the teens.

It’s not clear how many people were arrested.
